Major construction on the SkyTrain extension is underway. We are currently focused on utility work, vegetation management, roadworks, foundation construction, and other related activities.
Construction hours across the project are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday with most construction activities being completed by 8 p.m. Some activities may be required outside of regular work hours during lower traffic volumes, to reduce impacts to businesses or to accommodate concrete pours.
People who travel on Fraser Highway should plan additional travel time or consider alternative routes, as work is taking place in multiple locations along the corridor. You can continue to access businesses, services and residences along Fraser Highway and Industrial Avenue throughout construction.
