Posted February 4, 2025 – Construction of the elevated guideway is underway in the laneway near Highway 10 and Fraser Highway. Foundation construction in this area requires the installation of retaining structures and pile driving before the guideway columns can be constructed. Starting February 9, 2026, there will be intermittent pile driving and foundation work outside of regular construction hours in the laneway. For approximately six weeks, work will be permitted until 1 a.m., Monday to Sunday mornings. An increase in noise and vibrations is expected during this work.
